| Alaska cruse | | I am planning on taking my son on an cruse to Alaska. I have never done this before and I really wont it to be special for him. This is going to be a gift for his graduation. Has anyone done this? I would love to hear about your experiences. | |
| | Baggage Handlers stealing new clothes from luggage, does this happen? | | I know I packed two extra blouses and a pair of slacks, large sized. I am positive th4e crew of the ship did not take them, but it was quite a while before they brought my luggage and somebody had cut off the lock, so I checked and found I was missing a blouse, a t=shirt, and a pair of heavy black pair of pants. We were on the Alaska cruise and we are not rich, in fact we saved for it. I just can't roll all my clothes into a small suitcase and certainly I do not want to put the lap top I intend to buy into a suitcase to be stolen. I checked the internet and this seems to be a problem with baggage handlers stealing. Is this common? And is it more than jewelry, laptops, and other expensive items? Do they steal clothes as well, especially if they are new? And how do I report it? | |

Perhaps your art is something we have never seen or heard of. It may be even be a manner of speaking. Let's educate eachother and find the glory and beauty in our special gifts and crafts which we use or present to the world in creativity. The human gift of imagination is wondrous and blessed! | | Taking a cruise with my in-laws | | We recently bought a time-share which came with rewards we can use toward half-price vacations - cruises included. My husband and his step-mother have been talking lately how we want to go on an Alaskan cruise and so does she, but how his father doesn't. We were talking about it the other night, and with our package, we could pay for them to go and it really would only cost as much as we had originally budgeted for it (that is before we got the half-price deals). So we're seriously thinking about taking them on an Alaskan cruise in 2010 for their 25 anniversary and our 5th anniversary! We'd like it to be a surprise, but we've got to tell them so they can plan for it too. It sounds like it's a long way off, but I'm sure it'll be here before we know it! | |
| | It's A No Go... | | Well, I didn't get the job that I interviewed for the other week--but it's okay...I'm sure there was someone else with more experience who deserves the position more than I do.Anyways, I'm staying positive through this situation...I've decided to stop looking for a new job right now. Work has promised to give me more time and it won't be that bad staying there for a while...plus I can have time to save up more money.Plus my family has a couple plans for vacations in the coming year. My dad wants to take me and whoever else wants to go to Vegas because he has a time share there for this new years, and it may be really fun to shop and visit Vegas, I've never been there...and my parents want to take us on a cruise to alaska that might be really fun...and if I moved away then it would be difficult for me to go on these trips with my family. See! Thinking of the positives:) lol | |
