| $50 Fish Pond | | Our fish pond and water feature looks fantastic and cost us just $50! We had wanted one of these for several years, but they were so expensive. Luckly, we found the perfect use for our daughters' Big W shell shaped paddling pool that they had outgrown! We put it in the ground with some river rocks in the bottom, found a ceramic vase for $10 which we also filled with river rocks. Then we purchased a $5.00 bag of coloured stones and a pump for $25 and topped off with a couple of gold fish and for $50 we have our beautiful pond!Note: If you'd like a pond and you don't have one of these shells, ask friends with young children that may have outgrown them and check out garage sales. There are a lot of them floating around! (Sorry for the pun.)

| | Male box looking for female to mate. | | Every spring my owners observe my mating rituals. This year, she observed me courting a ceramic vase. It got a little rough, the vase broke and now I'm alone again. | |
