myLot Discussions how big RAMs increase the performance of computer???? well all i know is that RAM is the memory which stores temporary data,while a process is going on,, so i can understand how 1gb is better than 256mb. but now days people are buying like 3gb,4gb. so i want to know will this also increase the... can i put 1gb ram in one slot and 2 gb in another slot(will there be any probs) first i have 1 gb ram and recently a bought a 2gb ram and i inserted into the slot of ram and when i turned my pc,it showed me (the memory in slot1 is greater than slot2d,press any key to continue)well i don't know if there will be any problem... xp vs vista omg I upgraded to vista and it has been nothing problems, now I want to go back to xp but maybe I' judging too quickly,anyways I wanna know what you guys think. using pen drive as extra RAM Hi everyone, I want to know if any of you have tried to increase the RAM only by inserting a pen drive.
