| Would you walk with your dog or cat wearing Hands-Free Pet Carrier? | | This discussion was inspired by one of Mylotters asking me is my dogs are wearing headphones when I walk them. Thank you my friend for asking. It was a joke, but made me think.
As crazy as it is, it wouldn’t be crazy, because my younger dog is afraid of noise.
I was mentioning my pet stroller in my friend discussion, and really I have one, but I use it only once a year. It is only for Vet visits, because it is hard to handle all pets in my car and in Vet office.
Anyway, I found next toy for animals. It is Hands free pet carrier.
It may sound funny, but many cats and dogs are sick, barely walking.
I remember my previous dog, when she couldn’t walk after surgery and it was so said to look at her.
I took her once over the lake and I was walking with her on my hands.
She was so happy that day. She start eating and rolling, wanted to be pet and play.
I wish to have it handy 10 years ago. Would you find it handy to use it for your pet?

| | Hey Everbody My Cat Came Home!!!! | | I was so upset yesterday bc Bubba got out and we couldn't find him. In this area people shoot wild cats so I was scared for his life. Also we got Bubba and Stripe not long after our son died and that was a real big help with our sadness. BUT He made it home. He was very hungry and needed water. I cut some burrs out of his long yellow fur. He slept all day today. He means so much to our family and so does Stripe. We are all so happy.:D | |
| | An idea for an inexpensive guinea pig carrier... | | Today I made a carrier for my pet Guinea Pig using a few things I had lying around. I took a small cardboard box (Guinea Pig-sized), and lined it with a heavy-duty plastic material I had left over (be sure it isn't something that could cause suffocation). I also covered the outside of the box with the material, just to be on the safe side. I put bedding in the bottom of the box. Then, I slipped the box into a messenger-style bag that I could carry when traveling with my Guinea Pig. The bag I used even has compartments for carrying food, water, and other essentials along. It was cheaper, more user-friendly, and more fun than any of the carriers I found in the store...and my pet loves it! | |

| | Well I move tomorrow | | Yep tomorrow I leave for Arizona. Im almost all the way packed lol, only stuff that isnt all packed up and shiit is my computer and DVD player and other stuff im just going to put in my car. I have 19 boxes, 3 are big, rest are small. Filled mostly with my books and movies lol. Getting up tomorrow morning at 6am and start loading. Got my car serviced at walmart the other day and got my tires rotated, so my car is all good at least hehe. One of my neighbors who doesnt have a car and ive been taking to work and other places once in awhile said he would help me, after all ive helped him out enough lol. Which is very cool, wont take as long to load then. I thought about loading some tonight, but then yeah someone would see me and probably break into my car, and I dont want that. One of my neighbors cars was stolen a couple of months ago for the radio. I dont trust any of the damn idiots around these apartments that cant even keep their pants up around their asss let alone down around their knees. But when I started packing my cat got upset. I am worried about my cat. HE is getting fatter just about every day. He has to have a scoop (A tesapoon) of wet cat food, and we feed him Deli-Cat, or Kit and Kaboodle for Dry Cat Food, and we also feed him Iams Weight control, but I don't think it's doing any good. I think he must weigh at least 15 #! What food should I feed him so he can lose weight. I had to buy another pet carrier because he can't fit in the one we got when we first got him, and sooner or later, he is not going to fit in the one I got last summer! Will he get fatter, should we put him on a diet? I would like to hear some opinions and ideas!. | |

I need advice, and for some people to calm me down!
I will be taking a flight tonight, yes yes, on Christmas Eve! To my sisters for the holidays, and I will be taking my cat Loki as carry on.
I made sure to call the airlines to make sure there's room for Loki, booked my flight, then called back to put him on my itinerary, so that parts handled. WHEW!
I also have the soft sided pet carrier which is Airline approved, also taken care of.
BUT, I was having a bit of a panic attack last night after I packed too quickly, and so I had a LOT to think about. What is the process for the carry on pets anyways??
All I could think about is: XRay machine, constantly crying, something else going horribly wrong! Do they actually put the pet through the x-ray machine? will they be ok? I was going to also give him some gravol, which is a stomach medicine, I was going to shave some off the pill, mix it with yogurt, and feed it to him so he doesn't get an upset stomach, and what happens?
